When you contact Atlantic Caregiving, we begin by creating a client profile tailored to your unique needs. We’ll ask you questions to gain a deep understanding of your care requirements and arrange an initial nurse visit. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have during this process – we’re here to provide the answers and support you and your family need.
Based on the information we gather, as well as the initial assessment conducted by one of our care coordinators, we design a personalised care plan just for you. This plan is centred around your specific needs and preferences. We’ll discuss the care plan with you and present a proposal for your review and discussion.
We deeply appreciate the trust you place in Atlantic Caregiving by inviting us into your home to provide care. We understand that this is a significant step, and we take great care in finding the perfect caregivers or registered nurses for you. We consider a multitude of factors, including your interests, personalities, and medical needs. Your comfort is our top priority, and if you ever feel the need, we’ll work on finding a new caregiver at your request.
Our dedicated caregivers and registered nurses are aligned with our mission to enhance the quality of care every day. You can even track your own or your loved one’s care through our medical platform, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
Our care coordinators are committed to your well-being and will regularly follow up on your care to ensure you’re receiving the best possible support. Additionally, every 6 to 8 weeks, a registered nurse will visit you for a comprehensive assessment, providing an extra layer of reassurance.

Our People
To best meet your needs, we have a dedicated care team supporting you 24/7. You’ll have the pleasure of meeting our compassionate caregivers, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Registered Nurses in your home.
They are there to provide you with the best possible care. Our Care Team also includes our Senior Coordinator/Senior Registered Nurse, Care Transition Administrator, Public Health Consultant, and our Manager.
Care is about more than just the hands-on experience. It’s a holistic approach, and we consider all elements when providing care. Atlantic Caregiving provides a Care Team that is well-educated, undergoes annual training, and stays up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines.
Our History
“Our desire many years ago was to improve the quality of life for individuals seeking to age gracefully in familiar surroundings. This led to the establishment of Atlantic Caregiving (ACG) as an in-home care assistance provider.
At the heart of our organisation is the belief in empowering individuals to make decisions regarding their evolving needs in a way that best suits them as a whole person. Many people in private homes suffer in silence from loneliness, helplessness, and boredom.
To counter this, we employ proven care delivery techniques, including technology, to improve the overall well-being of those in our care. In addition, we possess a unique ingredient: a deep understanding of the whole person, leading to positive relationships and outcomes.”
